Kulim Exploration Ride is just around the corner, besides ECC there will be cyclist from Team Seri Negeri, Team "Mastana"- Masjid Tanah & MR MoBiC representing The Hang Tuah or Si Kancil state, Melaka.


All together more than 50 cyclist from Melaka. Hope we all will enjoy the Exploration Ride.

Nite Ride In Conjunction With The LTDL 09

On the 10th Feb 2009 the LTDL reaches Melaka for the second stage, Lucky for me being asked to represent my company to the finishing & prize giving ceremony.

At the VIP tent, I met with an old friend of mine En Zulkarnain, being the side event manager for the LTDL 09 he asked if ECC Malacca can organize a nite ride and finish at Hang Tuah Mall, where tomorrow stage will finish & the day after will be the starting for the stage to Bangi. Since Wednesday is the day for our usual Wednesday nite ride program, so I guess shouldn't be a problem.

I call the ECC Malacca President & Mr President said ON..ON..

About 60 members turn out that nite & we start cycling @ 2100hrs.

We ride through the World Heritage Historical City towards the Portugese Settlement.

The whole ride covers about 40km and finishes at the Hang Tuah Mall @ 2300hrs.

En Zulkarnain were there to hand over the souvenirs from Milo to all participants that nite.

Surviving the Sahara

It's been some time now since all of you had your tanning session during the Sahara ride. No need to thank us for the gorgeous bronze tan but if you insist, the comment button is at the bottom.

Yes we hear you. The cry of joy when you were downhilling and the cursing when you reached check point 6. You want reports and photos of the ride. Most of us at the organising level are almost recovered from sleep deprivation, teh tarik overdose and stress and we will post the link to the photo album once it is ready.

Those of you who didn't get the finisher medals, don't worry, we'll post to you.

What we'll do at the moment is to provide links to other riders blogs. What better story than coming from the riders that had first hand experience right?

Organizing the 1st Mountain Bike Jamboree is not an easy task for a new club formed in July 2008, many challenges and hurdles that we need to overcome in just 3 months time before the event.
